Odipolama packed with fun

Sandya, who made quite an impact with her acting debut Kadhal, has subsequently grown better at her job with each movie. With her upcoming Odipolama, Irumbukottai Murattu Singam and Nootruku Nooru, Sandya will also boast of a brand new and more urban look. She’s wiping off the final traces of those traditional looks, shedding weight and buying a new wardrobe.

Talking about her soon-to-release Odipolama, she said, “It’s an out and out fun flick with some serious undertones. The story revolves around a young couple who elope. But the twist is that they are not in love! So why do they elope? Well, that’s what you’ll have to find out when the movie releases.”

Tattoo-Tattoo Trisha

Tattoo-Tattoo Trisha!

Tattoo TrishaPretty girl Trisha has changed her flavor now! A couple of years before our slim lady Trisha was inspired by the cute little fish Nemo from the film ‘Finding Nemo’. She wore the cute tattoo of Nemo at a very special place. Trisha got her tattoo done at Irezumi, in Chennai and started showing off this tattoo in her movie ‘Kireedam’.

Looks like this fish tattoo had become old so, the actress has done a tattoo of a colourful butterfly on the same place. This happened when the girl was there in US for the shoot of Goutham Menon’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. Trisha had inked her special place again with a temporary tattoo.

Now we can have a Darshan of the beauty’s new fashion icon in her forthcoming ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ opposite Silambarasan and ‘Khatta Meeta’ opposite Akshay Kumar.

Ouch…a painful beauty do indeed!

Susi Ganeshan to try his luck in Bollywood

Susi GaneshanFilmmaker Susi Ganeshan started off his directorial venture with an award winning movie Virumbikiren (featured Prashanth and Sneha in lead roles)… Later, the filmmaker delivered some commendable flicks– 5 Star and Thiruttu Payale. Although his recent release Kandhasamy had witnessed mixed reviews, it still gained profit at box office.

Now, the filmmaker is all set to make his debut directorial in Bollywood with Hindi remake of Thiruttu Payale. The Tamil version featured Jeevan, Malavika and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles. It was loosely based on Hollywood’s famous thriller 8MM and Derailed.

Vadivelu – Santhanam galatta in Malaysia

Vadivelu SanthanamFollowed by ‘Billa’, ‘Thillalangadi’ happens to be one such flick that has been almost shot in Malaysia. Well, this time the entire Malaysia turned to be the biggest fanfare like situation as ‘Thillalangadi’ team shot over there.

Almost like our Tamil Nadu, they had the privilege of blocking the traffic and shooting the film. Indeed, they were permitted to shoot more sequences with the aid of helicopter. As well, the Government of Malaysia permitted them to shoot at an unique place ‘Buddha Jaya’ and this is the first film in world to be shot over there.

As well Jeyam Raja cannot stop singing praises of Vadivelu and Santhanam. Usually, Vadivelu doesn’t sign the projects that have comedy actors with more or equal values of him. But this time, he was spotted freaking out with Santhanam and Raja says, “We cannot forget the wonderful moment we shared with the duo has they brought down the roofs with their laugh-riot…”

Prabhu Deva – I never recommended Nayan

Prabhu Deva – “I never recommended Nayan”

Prabhu Deva NayantaraChoreographer-actor turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva is so infuriated with media channels publishing news about him recommending Nayanthara in various films. Earlier, it was mentioned that Prabhu Deva was resent by Salman Khan and Jeyam Ravi when he urged them to pair with Nayanthara.

With an effort of clearing the buzzes, Prabhu interacted with media channel saying that he has no ideas about directing any Hindi films as of now. Because it’s not an easy task to make a film if you’ve delivered a hit and reasserts that he never recommended Nayan for any projects.

At present, script discussions with Prabhu Deva are over and still talks are going on with various heroines to pair up with him.

There’s no smoke without a fire – Prabhu Deva you must understand this

Meera Jasmine keeping busy

Meera JasmineWhen one’s personal life is not too rosy, one tends to get involved in his or her professional life. Looks like that’s the line Meera Jasmine has taken. The actress has been going through some tough times in her personal life and while she still refuses to go public with what exactly happened between her and Mandolin Rajesh, she is keeping herself truly busy.

In Kollywood, the actress has six movies in hand. She is currently working with Prashanth in Malaiyoor Mambatiyan, with debutants in Adhi Narayana, with Suresh Joachim in Sivappu Mazhai and in Pen Singam, a movie based on Kalaignar Karunanidhi’s novel ‘Suruli Malai’. After a considerably long break, she is also doing Pattinte Pazhali in Malayalam directed by Rajeev Anchal.

“Acting is my passion. I am happy that I have my work to turn to when I’m in a rough spot in life. Cinema is the best thing that happened to me! I seem to have neglected Malayalam cinema for a while now. Let’s hope that next year, I will manage to strike a proper balance in all three South Indian languages,” she says.
